# OttoTrail

> An EV trip logger for the Tata Punch.ev: reads the car over an OBD-II adapter, logs drives and charges, prices them by the km and plans routes between chargers.

OttoTrail is made by AshterNext in India. It reads the car through a Bluetooth OBD-II (ELM327) adapter and only ever reads, never writes. Sign-in is with Google, and the log is backed up to the account. It has no ads and no tracking. Charging invoices and Analyze questions are read by Google Gemini; routes come from Google Maps, with ChargeZone and Statiq chargers.
